Not really an island, located on a peninsula in Vancouver, Granville Island is a famous shopping area known for its public market, brewery, and artist community. There is so much that you can see, taste, and discover. Fresh seafood, baked goods, and fresh fruit or vegetables can always be found at the Public Market. If you get a craving for some fresh seafood, check out Bridges, a popular waterfront dining location with its bistro, bar, and patio. Afterwards, catch the Aquabus over to False Creek for even more places to shop and have some fun. And maybe if you’re lucky, you may see Bigfoot lurking close by, as Granville is also known for a few Bigfoot sightings.
