The world is a bright and beautiful place to explore but first you need to know a little about where you are going! This mat makes it fun and memorable to learn the oceans and continents of the world. Bonus points are given if you can name a few countries and their general location.
To use the mat, color the parts of the cell and draw a line from the word to the part of the cell that the word describes.
Not sure what the answers are? We encourage students to study a globe or world map to find the answers. Maybe even find out a little about what kinds of animals are native to the continents. Since the back of the mat is blank, encourage kids to name some countries within the continents.
