🔄 2. Transition from Gift Cards to Store Credit

As of 4/14/25, Moonshot Games is transitioning away from issuing gift cards for trade-ins and will now provide value as store credit tied to your customer account.

What This Means:

If you previously received a gift card for selling or trading in Magic, Pokémon, or other items, your balance will be converted to store credit.
The store credit will expire 12 months from the conversion date.
Purchased gift cards (e.g., $25 or $50 cards bought for others) are not affected and will remain active for 5 years from the date of purchase.

If you attempt to use a trade-in gift card that has been deactivated, please contact us or speak to a staff member — we will verify your account and apply the correct balance manually.

💳 3. Store Credit Policy

Store credit may be issued in the following circumstances:

Accepted trade-ins or card sales
Refunds where store credit is preferred or required
Promotional credit, giveaways, or goodwill
Credit converted from a trade-in gift card

Key Terms:

Store credit is non-transferable, non-refundable, and tied to your Moonshot customer account (email required).
Store credit expires 12 months after issuance unless otherwise noted at the time of issuance.
You must be logged into your customer account to view and use your store credit.
Store credit is not legal tender and cannot be redeemed for cash.

🎁 4. Gift Card Policy

Moonshot Games offers gift cards for purchase online or in-store. These cards are ideal for gifting and function separately from store credit.

Key Terms:

Gift cards can be purchased in fixed amounts and are delivered as a digital code.
They can be used by anyone with the code and are not tied to a specific account.
Gift cards expire 5 years after the purchase date, in compliance with U.S. federal law.
They are non-refundable and not redeemable for cash, except where required by law.
Lost or stolen gift cards may be replaced only if the original balance and code can be verified.

👥 5. Managing Your Balances

Store credit balances can be viewed by logging into your account on our website.
Gift card balances can be checked via the original gift card email or by contacting our team.
If you believe your balance is missing or incorrect, please contact us within 60 days of the original transaction for assistance.

🚫 6. Abuse & Fraud

Moonshot Games reserves the right to:

Suspend or revoke store credit in cases of suspected abuse or fraud
Require ID verification for large redemptions
Refuse or adjust credit if records cannot be verified
