Welcome to Moonshot Rips, formerly known as Rip & Ship. It's the same stream you know, with the same team and the same packs. We just wanted a name that fit where we're headed. If you're new to us, we're a family-owned friendly local game store in Noblesville, Indiana, and Moonshot Rips is our live stream where you buy sealed packs from us and we open them for you, on camera, in real time. No gamification, no gimmicks. You buy, we rip, we ship. Grab a drink, hang out in chat with us, and let's see what's in there.
One quick note. Moonshot Games is no longer partnered with Lance Cothern or Cothern Cards. Lance is running his own channel these days, and we wish him the best of luck with everything he's building. Moonshot Rips is our own thing now, with our own team, our own policies, and our own stream schedule.
About Moonshot Rips
What is Moonshot Rips?
Moonshot Rips is our live-stream pack opening. You buy sealed packs from us, we open them for you on camera in real time, and we ship the cards to your door. Right now we're opening Magic: The Gathering, with Pokémon launching next and a sports card stream coming after that.
How is this different from a "break"?
Traditional breaks usually involve some kind of gamification. Random team assignments, hit drafts, filler spots, and so on. Moonshot Rips is simpler than that. You buy the packs, we open them, and you get every card that comes out. No teams, no random draws, no skimming. Whatever's in the pack is yours.
What products do you open?
Today, we're opening Magic: The Gathering sealed packs from Wizards of the Coast.
Pokémon is coming next, on its own dedicated stream, and we're looking at a sports card stream after that. When we launch each new stream, we'll announce it on our channels and update this page.
Where and when do you stream?
Right now we stream live on YouTube. Twitch, TikTok, and Whatnot are on the short list to add soon. All our streams happen at scheduled times on scheduled channels, and we keep a current schedule of upcoming streams posted on our site.

Do I have to buy anything to watch?
Not at all. There's no minimum order and no obligation to buy anything. Come hang out, chat with us and the rest of the community, ask questions, enjoy the stream. If something catches your eye while you're there, it'll be right on the site.
Are there purchase limits?
For most products, no. Once in a while we'll run a promotion or carry something in really limited supply, and in those cases we'll cap it per customer. When that happens, the limit will be called out on the product page so you know up front.
Ordering & Payment
Where do I place an order?
All orders are placed on our website at moonshotgamestore.com/live. When a stream is live, that page will show you the current stream and the products available to rip.
What payment methods do you accept?
We take a lot of different payment methods, so you can check out however works best for you:

When do I pay?
All orders are paid in full at checkout. Because we're opening sealed product live on camera for you, all Moonshot Rips sales are final and non-refundable the moment you place the order. There's more on this in the Returns & Cancellations section below.
Do you charge sales tax?
Yes. We collect sales tax in every state where Moonshot Games has a tax nexus. The right amount is calculated and added automatically at checkout based on your shipping address, so there's no guesswork on your end.
Are there any other fees?
The only other fee is shipping, and only if your order doesn't hit the free shipping threshold (see Shipping below). We don't charge rip fees, service fees, or surprise handling charges.
The Rip
How does the queue work?
When you buy a pack, your order is added to the live queue right away. Your name or YouTube handle shows up on the on-screen queue, and we work through orders in the order they come in. How quickly we get to your packs depends on how many folks are ahead of you. Most packs are opened pretty soon after purchase.
Do I need to be watching live to claim my cards?
No. You don't need to be watching to claim your cards. We record every opening, and whatever comes out of your pack is yours either way. Buy now, catch the VOD later if you want, and your cards still end up in a box headed to you.
Will you notify me when my pack is about to be opened?
Not right now. Your handle shows up on the live queue on stream, but we don't send individual notifications before a rip. If that's something you'd really like to see, let us know. We're always looking for ways to make the experience better.
Do I get everything that comes out of my packs?
Yes. Every card. These are factory-sealed packs straight from Wizards of the Coast (and soon The Pokémon Company), and whatever's in the packs you bought is yours. We don't hold back hits, we don't keep chase cards, we don't skim.
Do you guarantee any specific pulls or hits?
No. Sealed product is sealed product. What we guarantee is that you'll get every card from the packs you paid for. Nothing more, nothing less. The risk is kind of the whole point of opening sealed packs.
What if a pack from the manufacturer is damaged or short-packed?
Stuff that comes from the manufacturer wrong (damaged cards from the factory, missing cards, misprints, and so on) is handled through our replacement policies. Check our Shipping & Replacement Policy for the details, or just email us and we'll make it right.
What happens to packs in a box you don't fully sell?
We only open packs that customers have actually purchased. If we crack a box and only a few packs have sold, the remaining packs stay available for future orders on upcoming streams.
Shipping & Fulfillment
This section covers the new Moonshot Rips shipping options. The goal is pretty simple. Get your cards to you safely, get them there fast, keep the cost down, and give you flexibility on how you want to receive them.
Free shipping over $150
Any order totaling $150 or more ships free. Orders at or above this threshold are automatically consolidated with any other outstanding Moonshot Rips orders you have with us, and shipped out the next business day.
Carriers
We ship via USPS, UPS, and FedEx, and we pick the carrier and service that makes the most sense for each package based on rates and service levels. Tracking is included on every shipment.
Combining shipping
We love combining shipments. It saves you money and gets your cards to you in fewer packages. Buy a few packs at a time on the stream and you will be charged for shipping on each. Just email us before the end of the stream and we'll consolidate and refund the shipping overage in store credit.
Adding items from MoonshotGameStore.com
This one is new, and we're pretty excited about it. Anything you buy on moonshotgamestore.com can now ride along with your Moonshot Rips shipment. That includes KKDs, Magic singles, sealed product, accessories, supplies, and anything else on the store. If it's on our site, it can ship in the same box as your rips.
In the past, we really limited our ability to combine Rip & Ship packs with other items from the store, and that made things harder than they needed to be for our customers. We're done with that. The whole point of Moonshot Rips is to make it as easy as possible for you to add whatever you want from the store to your pack order and get it all delivered together. One box, one tracking number, less packaging waste, and faster to you.
If you already have an open Moonshot Rips order and want to add a single, a KKD, or anything else to that same shipment, you can also just email support@moonshotgamestore.com and we'll take care of it for you.
Packaging
Every Moonshot Rips order is packed using the best practices we've developed over three years of live pack openings. Our number one priority is that your cards arrive safely. Because our shipping process is consistent across thousands of orders, we're not able to accommodate custom packaging or special shipping protocols for individual customers. Everyone gets our proven process.
Insurance and signature

Orders up to $500: Shipped with the default insurance included through Pirate Ship, Shopify Shipping, and/or the carrier.

Orders over $500: Insured for the full value.

Orders over $2,000: Insured and shipped with signature required on delivery.

Optional additional insurance: Available on request at your expense. Contact us before your order ships if you'd like to add coverage.
Where we ship
We currently ship to the United States only. International shipping is something we might revisit down the road, but it isn't available today.
Lost, damaged, or stolen packages
If something goes wrong in transit, we'll work with you to make it right. Details on claims, timelines, and what we're able to cover live in our Shipping & Replacement Policy. When in doubt, email us at support@moonshotgamestore.com and we'll take care of you.
Returns, Refunds & Cancellations
Can I return my cards?
No. All Moonshot Rips sales are final. Because the product is sealed at the time of purchase and opened live on camera, it can't be restocked or resold once it's been ripped. This is the standard across every live pack-opening service, and it's a condition of purchase.
For Moonshot Games orders outside of Moonshot Rips (store items, singles, sealed product that hasn't been ripped on stream yet, and so on), our general Refund Policy applies.
Can I cancel my order?
Customer-initiated cancellations aren't available. Moonshot reserves the right to cancel any order at our discretion (for example, due to a pricing error, a supply issue, or something else that needs attention). If we cancel an order, you'll get a full refund of what you paid.
When do you issue refunds or replacements?
Refunds and replacements are handled according to our Shipping & Replacement Policy, primarily for shipping issues and manufacturer defects. If you think something qualifies, email us and we'll take a look.
What about chargebacks?
We handle every dispute case by case, and our inbox is watched by actual people who want to help you out. Please email us at support@moonshotgamestore.com before filing a chargeback. Once a chargeback is opened, our ability to make things right is pretty limited, and we'd much rather solve your problem directly.
Grading, Authentication & Resale
Do you offer grading submissions?
Not yet, but it's on our radar. We're actively looking into how to offer grading through services like PSA, BGS, SGC, and CGC. If you'd like us to add you to a list so you hear about it when we launch, send us a note.
Will you hold my cards so I can submit them for grading myself?
No. We ship the cards we open.
Do you authenticate autographs, memorabilia, or redemptions?
We don't offer authentication services. Cards ship in whatever condition they come out of the pack.
Do you buy back or trade for opened cards?
We don't currently have a formal resale or trade-in program for cards opened through Moonshot Rips, but it's something we're actively working on. Stay tuned.
Community, Conduct & Privacy
Are there rules for chat and DMs?
Yes. We want Moonshot Rips to feel like the best parts of a friendly local game store. Welcoming, fun, and respectful. Language, harassment, spam, begging, and other conduct issues are covered in our broader Store Policy. (We'll link to this here once it's posted.)
Is there an age requirement?
You need to be 18 or older to place an order. If you're under 18, you're absolutely welcome to watch the stream and hang out with us in chat. But purchases have to be made by a parent or legal guardian, using their payment method and on their behalf, with their consent. By checking out, you're confirming you meet this requirement.
How do you handle my personal information?
Your privacy matters to us. How we collect, store, and use your information is described in our Privacy Policy.
Your use of our site, streams, and services is also governed by our Terms of Service.

Addendum: Pre-Relaunch Customers (Formerly Rip & Ship)
If you bought on the old Rip & Ship stream back when Moonshot was partnered with Cothern Cards, we want to make this as simple as possible for you. You helped build the thing we're now calling Moonshot Rips, and we're genuinely grateful for that.
We won't hold your cards to pressure you into buying more. Period. Here's exactly how to claim what we're holding for you.
One-time amnesty, through June 30, 2026
From now through 11:59pm ET on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, any legacy customer can claim the cards we're holding for them and we'll ship them free. No minimum purchase, no strings.
To claim your cards, email support@moonshotgamestore.com with the email address you used on the old stream. We'll bundle everything we're holding for you and send it out the next business day.
Prefer to pick up in-store?
You can grab your held cards in person at 50 N. 9th St., Noblesville, IN during store hours. No appointment needed, no email required, no time limit. In-store pickup stays available any time, not just during the amnesty window.
Want to keep going on the new streams?
If you want to keep rolling with us on Moonshot Rips, we'd love to invite you. Same cards, new chapter. You don't need to do anything.
After June 30, 2026
Once the amnesty window closes, legacy orders move onto the same options as every other Moonshot Rips customer. Free in-store pickup any time, or pay-actual shipping on request (no markup, no handling fee).
