Moonshot Invitational - 8/14/21

Our Noblesville store some serious action on Saturday, 8/14, with another installment in our 2021 Invitational series.  This was the sixth $1K Magic: the Gathering tournament in our Moonshot Invitational Series, and we had a completely full house for the Modern-format event.

James Wager was able to secure victory on Saturday with his "Scapeshift" deck, and was followed by Adam Saba with his "Hammertime" deck in second place.  Ziang Chen found himself back in the top 3 this week and earned himself some more valuable points towards a buy in our $10K Championship this November!

With James Wager's win, he's now tied for third-place in the overall points standings with Ziang Chen at 31 points each.  James Moskal is still sitting atop the leaderboard with 44 points, and Andrew Branham is close behind him in second place in the overall standings with 42 points. This coming Saturday's Tournament will be back at our Mass Ave location, and will be a return to the Limited format with another Adventures in the Forgotten Realms event. Registrations are now open for all remaining events in the series.  We highly encourage purchasing your entry early, as these events have sold out.  Register today for the next event!

The Moonshot Invitational Series consists of 17 $1K events from June through October that qualify players for a $10K tournament on November 6th. Full details here.
